gxine: only fullscreen for 5 seconds>>xine crashes

ok, at first my system:
gaming-kernel 2.4.20-r3
gentoo 1.4
gnome 2.4 with metacity(since today afternoon>>gmt-1hour)
nvidia graphics card with nvidia driver(actuall version)

(g)xine works fine all the time in fullscreen, but today i upgrade form gnome 2.2.2 to 2.4.0

u can see, i open the avi file over x-term and then i switch to fullscreen with "f" btw. "ctrl+f"...3 seconds later xine crashes(i am back on my gnome desktop)


where is the problem, why crashes xine?
i hope u can help me and unterstand my bad english


some more information: mplayer works well in fullscreen
