I have sdlmame 0.136 installed, and it seems to work fine.
It can record and play back games.
BUT, I have a file recorded on an older version of some variant of mame, and when I try to play this file, I get:
Code: |
$ sdlmame game -playback file.inp
Input file invalid or in an older, unsupported format
Ignoring MAME exception: Input file invalid or in an older, unsupported format
Floating point exception
|
Any suggestions on how to get this to play (on Linux)?
I have no idea about the different versions and when things changed. |

Yes, I can see that. The input file is not invalid, so I assume sdlmame doesn't support it. I need to find a program (some different mame?) that will play this on Linux. I hope that someone here knows of one. |
