|
|
Hi,
I have a media-pc with the following setup:
AMD Mainboard with integrated HD3200 ATI graphics chipset with HDMI out (audio out over hdmi working). Additionally there is an integrated intel_hda audio card.
For watching/recording tv I have recently installed a Hauppauge HVR-4000 card.
Now my problem:
I can't hear any sound when watching tv (using tvtime). Surely the sound of the tv-card comes from the conexant cx8811 chipset on it (or maybe the line-in of the intel_hda built in sound). My guess is that it should be routed to the hdmi output.
All cards and channels are unmuted and working fine. The tv-card doesn't output it's sound to the intel_hda card either, I checked by connecting an extra speaker to it.
How can I route the sound from the tv-card to the hdmi output?
