Having read the posts about upgrading my kernel I have finally got everything working now with the new kernel, except one thing that is, iptables, it refuses to compile and I have no idea why, any ideas? |

I am sorry I do not have a link, but the trick is to go onto bugs.gentoo.org, and then get the updated IPTables ebuild that works with the 2.6 kernel.
Then emerge that.
You also need to merge the latest (read: unstable acc. to portage) iproute in order to get it to work with 2.6 kernel. _________________ Face it, we are all noobs.
On the box it said it was designed for Win XP or better, so why won't it work with Linux? |
