hi there,
just installing my new asus g73j notebook i stumbled over an ati driver problem :

as i said before this is a fresh install,

ati-drivers-10.8 (portage)
none of my packages are unstable or unmasked !!
thanks for suggestions and hints ...
EDIT : forgot to mention that i used some ati installer (ati-config or so) and used the option --initial, i am not shure if it is just a "BusID PCI:0@1:0:1" config problem or a real - in the ati drivers "symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/drivers/fglrx_drv.so: undefined symbol: GlxInitVisuals2D" _________________ I do not have a Superman complex, for I am God not Superman
