Beagle replacement for indexing and searching pdfs

with Beagle not being developed anymore can anyone recommend a replacement indexer ?

I almost hate to say this, but since KDE 4.5.2 nepomuk+strigi has been
working perfectly - no memory use explosion and no hogging the cpu.

It is now actually useful
