|
|
Hi guys,
I have a custom driver module that is located in a folder in my home area.
I was just wondering how I can get this to auto-load on boot?
I know that you can put module names in /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 but I assume that's only for drivers built as part of the kernel which my driver isn't.
Thanks for any help you can give me. |

how early does it need to load?
if you run out of ideas, set it to be modprobe'd within your 'local' init script. _________________ Lost configuring your system?

Not early at all. I can get away with running it post boot. |
