|
|
Hello, I was attempting to emerge googleearth, and first it was masked by the ~amd64 keyword, so I fixed that, now it is masked by the following:
Code: |
# emerge -av googleearth
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "sci-geosciences/googleearth" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- sci-geosciences/googleearth-5.2.1.1588 (masked by: googleearth license(s))
A copy of the 'googleearth' license is located at '/usr/portage/licenses/googleearth'.
- sci-geosciences/googleearth-5.1.3535.3218-r1 (masked by: googleearth license(s))
For more information, see the MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge
man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook. |
Does anybody have any idea as to how to remove this mask? I would really appreciate any input I can get!
Thanks
Todd

man emerge wrote: | LICENSE
The LICENSE variable in an ebuild file can be used to mask packages based on licensing restrictions. emerge
examines the ACCEPT_LICENSE environment variable to allow or disallow the emerging of a package masked by
LICENSE. See make.conf(5) for information about ACCEPT_LICENSE, and see portage(5) for information about
/etc/portage/package.license.
