I have nvidia network card integrated into nforce 2 motherboard (nf7-s). When i try to configure (any command from install docs) it says that cannot locate eth0 device. What to do? 10x in advance |

u can start a gentoo installation from ANY linux distribution, if the gentoo cd does not work for u u could try knoppix, or one of the floppy distributions with the proper module...
once u are able to boot and use your network card u can proceed with the installation as described in the manual... _________________ To an engineer the glass is neither half full, nor half empty - it is just twice as big as it needs to be. |
