Dear all,
After 3 weeks of gentoo I have only 1 ussue that I really cannot find the solution: my touchpad on hp envy.
Here the issues:
1) it's extremelly sensitive
2) right button behaves like the left button
3) double touching the pad don't produce the click
I'm using the default xorg-server, hal, I tried the tutorial here: http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Synaptics_Touchpad/Xorg_7.3 to set up fdi, I tried to use synclient but it seems that my options are "invisibles".
Finally I installed the kcm_touchpad, but it also doesn't change the behavior of the touchpad.
With ubuntu >= 10.04 the mouse works "perfectly" (not perfect as windows but ok), so please let me know if there is a tutorial somewhere or give me the steps to correct it!
Absolutely thank you very much for any kind of help. |

Thanks for your suggestion.
After some search I found that my touchpad is a clickpad so not yet supported by kernel 2.6 and xorg-server. |
