Hello everybody, im a new gentoo user,and im going to compile linux-kernel, my cpu is Athlon II X3 435, and i want to optimize the kernel on my cpu, so how should i write the file 'make.conf' ? Thanks |

make.conf is not used by the kernel compilation process
if you would like to create a lean, quick kernel, without heaps of bloat, I highly recommend you do a manual kernel configuration (not genkernel), and use one of Pappy's kernel seeds (check the links in my signature) _________________ Lost configuring your system?
