genlop on my box somehow got broken yesterday. It now says no working merge found even though I've got an emerge -e world runnning!

Any ideas what I need to do to resolve this error?

Thanks!

You need to provide some additional information. emerge --info and a copy&paste of the exact error message are always a good starter.

And...

Code:

# genlop -c
!!! Error: no working merge found.
(the -c option only works if there is an ongoing compilation, see manpage)

Emerge -e world is still ongoing!

You might just be hitting it between two compilations.
When you see the compiler text scrolling by then try entering genlop -c. It's only when the compiler is working that you can use the -c flag.

Nope, this happens even when it is compiling. There must be a problem somewhere. But thank you.
