<shrug> appears so. You can manually set you rsync to another server that is fast for you. rsync5.us.gentoo.org is pretty good (it's the rsync server the forums server runs. )
In /etc/make.conf put: Code: | SYNC="rsync://rsync5.us.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" |
