Gnome Icons?

Ok I was trying to update my system earler with emerge -u world and it wanted to update the blocked gome-core. This, of course, failed so I unmerged gnome-core and now most of my gnome app icons are gone! Is there a way to get them back? I don't really need all of them as I use kde primarily, but isn't there some way to retrieve them so I can get my gnucash icon back?
