Hi I just installed the operating system but my ADSL is not
colleague. I tried to do ifconfig getting
lo Link encap: Local Loopback
inet addr: 255.0.0.0 Mask 127.0.1
etc. ....
how can I continue to want it? thanks

"ifconfig" only shows interfaces that are up, so it is good to see "lo", but you should also see "eth0" or "eth1" or something ...
Use "ifconfig -a" to show all interfaces. If you still do not see "eth0", then the kernel may be missing the driver for your ethernet card. |
