In kde-4.5.3, and 4.5.4, a Kmail Gentoo forum link opens konqueror in the HTML source code.
Seems like it might be a kde cache problem, as the konqueror address bar reads | Quote: | | /var/tmp/kdecache-wrc/krun/8155.0.viewtopic.php |
Is it safe do remove all or parts of /var/tmp/kdecache-wrc/krun/8155.0.viewtopic.php. Maybe just the Gentoo forum entries, if any? If I change the default browser to firefox, it doesn't do this, so it must be a kde/konqueror problem.
However, it only happens trying to open a Gentoo forums link. 
Hmmm. all that's in kdecache-wrc/krun is one html file that opens a pcpitstop page which I visited a while back.
There are 13 folders and 13 files- any ideas where to look? The http folder, which has 6,474 files, 75mb in size?
There's no obvious kmail config setting that seems relavent to why this would happen, but maybe I missed something?
Guess I should also investigate konqueror settings again.
