usb scanner, PLEASE help. needed for class in 1 hour

Hello, I am in a bind, I need to get my hp psc 1210 to scan images within the next hour before class! any help would be appreciated.

it prints with cups and the hpijs drivers

xsanne scans for devices and iot says no devices available

usb scanner is a module in my krenel

well I can't help you but i'm having the exact same problem with my HP PSC 750 scanner here https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=84270
