|
|
I am trying to get my laptop to stay on when I close the lid as long as it is on AC power. This does not appear to be an option in Power Management. When on plugged in I can black screen, suspend, hibernate, or shutdown...but there is no option to leave on. I use my laptop with an external monitor and when plugged in, I want to be able to shut it but still use it. Any tips? |

Are you using some too clever program like hal or power management acpi tools?
Try to manually enable monitor using xrandr and/or xset via e.g. ssh. _________________ Per aspera ad astra! |

I think you can configure this by editing
/etc/acpi/default.sh _________________ .... there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth
doing as simply messing about with Linux ...
