While trying to configure X, I accidentally deleted the file "/etc/xftconfig" what should I do about this?

xft is the X freetype library. Perhaps re-emerge x11-libs/xft ? |

BTW you should use a more descriptive thread subject like 'removed xftconfig by accident' rather than 'I am an idiot'... |

It won't let me re emerge it, it says it conflicts with xfree |

what about unmerging xft and re-emerging xfree?? that should work to re-emerge xft cause it's a dependancy of xfree... |

i thought there was some weird clash thing with xfree 4.3 onwards and xft. |
