Hi there
I have a weird problem with sim-icq 0.8.3 installed on a gentoo linux
ppc machine the messages gets really borked up, its like some of the
info for sim gets into the message ... im not sure if it is an enconding
problem or whatever.
i hope you can help me with a look at the problem
{\rtf1\ansi\deff0
{\fonttbl{\f0\fswiss MS Sans Serif;}{\f1\fswiss Verdana;}}
{\colortbl ;\red0\green0\blue0;}
\viewkind4\pard\cf1\f0 \f1\highlight0\pard das ist gut \par
\par
starte mal dein icq neu mal gucken was dann ist\par
}
Well does anyone know a fix for this? |

I got the same problem as well (kde 3.1.4, sim 0.8.3)! Is this a ppc-specific bug?! I may add that i do not get these format tags from everybody on my contact list, might have to do with the icq client your friend uses (although i haven't been able to work from which these messages come).
Greats,
Soebbi

the really weird thing is that if i send messages to this client via another sim client ... the same happens, but not all the time, just sometimes the message is absolutely okay then it is again borked up ... it might give the 0.9 version a try |

I can report it doesn't do that on x86 for me. I've been using it daily for months. |
