I am currently upgrading to latest kde 4.5 and rocs fails to emerge

Run dispatch-conf. Now! 83 config files is deadly!

The problem might go away after that.

When config files are out of date, things break.

if you are not sure about a file, just use the new version. the developers know what they are doing most of the time.
