Audigy Platinum Ex - External Box Support?

Hi,

I'm using the ALSA snd-emu10k1 driver and I get sound fine through my main speakers which are plugged into the back of the card.

Trouble is, I don't get _any_ sound out of my external box and I need this as my headphones are plugged in there, and I don't want my housemates getting irate at 3am when i'm deep into a coding session.


Anyone else managed to get the external box working? Is it just some setting in the mixer that i haven't enabled?
