Easytag freedb info is wrong

I found some mp3s in my music collection today that have absolutely no ID3 tags so i figured i would install easytag and edit them. when looking at them in easytag i see theres is a CDDB lookup option so i click on it. When easytag does the automatic lookup from freedb.org it seems to see the wrong discid and my album was not listen. Then i go to the manual lookup thinking i can just type it in and find it. Well the manual search uses gnudb instead of freedb and the album i was editing is not in the gnudb. So basically the cddb lookup option is useless to me. I even tried multiple different albums from different artist and the autolookup did not find a single one using the discid. Does anyone know whats going on with this or have the same problem? Could someone recommend a different program that can do this correctly?
