Hello, after latest info about bugs inopenssh i update openssh to 3.7_p1 and i get error when i do:

What is wrong? Please help me, i need this very much.

I had the same problem until I downgraded gcc (which I had upgraded just prior to rebuilding openssh). Now I'm back to gcc 3.3.1-r1 and ssh built using this version of the compiler works fine for me. |

Thanks but i have:
eclipse root # gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.3.1 20030904 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.1-r1, propolice)
ang my ssh is still seg-faulted |

And I suppose reemerging ssh won't change things either? It may be possible to gain some insight by running ssh in verbose mode.
My installation just magically worked after rebuilding with a "better" version of gcc. Other applications were affected as well. |

Ok, thanks for any hints. Just ssh work fine. I reemerge this two times and start work.
By the way, the ebuild and packages should be more testing (vide gcc-3.3.1_r2) until be added to portage. |
