I get this alot, seems that after ive played a few games, or vcd my sound stops working, and this is what gets printed in the console window.
How can i restart my sound without restarting x, or the pc?
Im using nvaudio module (Asus a7n8x deluxe sound)
im running gnome 2.4, and as far as i can tell im not using esoundd, or artsd. _________________ Athlon 64 3200, MSI NEO NForce 3, 1Gig PC3700, EVGA Geforce 6800 GT |

Use lsof to find what is holding on to the device. You'll need to emerge it, of course. |
