Hey,
I'm using Pidgin 2.7.9 (libpurple 2.7.9) and get random crashes.
I'm not posting this as bug report straight away because maybe the problem is on my side so, a suggestion on how to go would be appreciated.
here's the (non-full) backtrace

Searching for the first error message, this could have to do with pidgin-facebookchat. At least all Google results appear to have to do with chat applications and Facebook. _________________ lxg.de – codebits and tech talk |

Well, probably ... I usually disable the facebook connection nowadays since I use guifications as well and you may image what it means when you are logged on and off to facebook about each two minutes.
I'll bear it a while anyways, just to check if the crash happens.
At least none of the "problematic" functions/methods mentioned here http://trac.adium.im/wiki/FacebookChat seem to be the cause but purple_account_get_protocol_id() - maybe it has to be added to the list - but let's see first. |
