Ok, I know this question must have a simple answer that I'm just not getting. I cant seem to set up my ibook to default to net.eth0, i ran
Code: |
rc-config add net.eth0 default
and everything came up good, it said it had been added or what not. However when i reboot i have nothing, and have to run dchpcd eth0 to get networking up again. I'm pretty sure im just not doing something small that is required, like editing a config or something.
Sorry for the new q. thanks in advance. |

The file to edit is /etc/conf.d/net, where you should only need to uncomment the line where it says "dhcpd eth0". Assuming you haven't done that already, that is... |
