Cambio gruppo [risolto]

Ho cambiato gid al mio gruppo utente (da 501 a 1001) per avere un pò di coerenza (il mio utente ha uid 1001), e poi ho cambiato tutti i file che avevano gid 501 a gid 1001 con un find da root dopo aver dato un init 1. Poi ho associato al mio utente il gruppo con gid 1001. Tutto ok, solo che ogni volta che riavvio e faccio partire X da utente normale, alcuni file (.xscreensaver, .themes di gnome, .emacs) ritornano con gid 501. Che ci manca da cambiare?

Il find era corretto. Poi ho trovato l'errore: nel file /etc/passwd era indicato il riferimento numerico sbagliato e l'ho cambiato. Ho editato a mano il passwd, ho fatto bene?
