There isn't a whole lot you can do here. Flash acting poorly in full screen or at any other time is pretty common place, since Adobe won't do any hardware acceleration in non-Windows platforms. One thing you can do is this:
Edit this line in your /etc/adobe/mms.cfg:
Code: | OverrideGPUValidation = 1 |
I'm not exactly sure if this really does enable GPU acceleration, but it does seem to help with performance. Apparently flash 10.2 is suppose to work a little better, but again Adobe is only enabling certain acceleration techniques in IE. |

Hey, i have same trouble too
Before Gentoo(amd64) i used Debian(x86), there was that problem, and Slackware(x86), there wasn`t problems with flash o_O Firefox, the same plugins(adobe-flash, in gentoo i unmasked it, 10.2.152.27_p201011173-r1), nvidia video card, proprietary drivers, opengl in nvidia implementation. I dont understand why on slackware all was normal о_О
Vibe, try using alt+tab, it helps me to watch videos in full screen^^ |

With flash 10.2 they are suppose to be including native support again. |

Actually I just updated to flash 10.2 today since it's been marked stable, and I have to say the performance feels much better. I have no benchmark tests for this, but sites that used to be choppy run very smooth now. I'm still using the OverrideGPUValidation option. |

thanks you very much for answer!unfortunately your advice isn't acting.By the way - all options in my /etc/adobe/mms.conf are hashed without option you order to change. So what else can I do to solve my problem?(alt + tab not work)

That is normal... you will want to uncomment that line I mentioned and set it equal to 1. |

Regards | Have you tried flash 10.2 yet?
Also, I see in your profile that you are running KDE. Are you using any of the fancy visual effects? Turning those off might help. |

Yes, I tried flash 10.2 with the same effect.
...I use KDE but I am not using any fancy visual effects.

I use the newest unstable flash on amd64 with 4 gigs of ram and have no problem.
I recommend adding flash to you package.keywords. _________________ First things first, but not necessarily in that order.
Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box. |
