i really need some help here, i have a compaq smart array controller, grub is working the kernel is booting but it hangs when it does the partition check! it just hangs i cant even ctrl&alt&del

cciss/c0d0


i dont know what to do anymore i compiled the controller into my kernel everything is fine but i just cant boot. and /dev/cciss/c0d0 exist and i have /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 as boot, c0d0p2 swap and c0d0p3 as root.
