What's the point of stabilising if it has a gazillion dependencies that are masked?
And how can I get a list of all those dependencies at once? Run emerge -upDN world, add the next dep to package.keywords, repeat; a really tedious process considering the number of masked packages. |

Princess Nell,
Thats a bug. A stable package isnot permitted to depend on unstable packages.
Try emerge --sync again in case you managed to sync when some packages were keyworded and others not.
Unfortunately keywording and mirror updates are not atomic operations.
If its still an issue please file a bug. _________________ Regards,

I'll try again tomorrow - or rather. later today. My procedure is always emerge --sync followed by emerge -upDN world. I guess I synced in the middle of a mirror update or something. |
