The Silicon Image driver has changed since a few kernel revisions, meaning DMA is enabled by default among other things. I experienced some file corruption, running the test5 kernel though, so I was wondering if anyone is having success with a Silicon Image SATA controller and a test5 kernel? |

i tried it a couple of days ago on a NFS-S mobo sil31* controller on board and i didnt ge any dma still just pio with max speed of 16 m/s ( so im back to ac-sources (25m/s) |
