k3b non masterixzza bene i cd qls velocità gli dia scende dino a 0,01 o giù di lì fin quando va in errore vi passo un cut del debug
Scusate ma è davvero lungo ma non so quali informazioni possano essere utili e quali meno.

Non usare l'ide per masterizzare, usa solo lo scsi.
Cioe' compilato ide-cd come modulo ma non usarlo e vedi quello che succede.

Koma, non sai quanto ti capisco... 
CMQ: vai nel kernel, rendi modulo sia ide-cd che ide-scsi e non abilitare il kernel mod-probing.
Dopodiche lancia solo ide-scsi e guarda se k3b ti masterizza correttamente.
Se si, puoi provare una delle opzioni discusse da Legolas80 in un altro post.
