hi guys,

since today i got a very strange problem!

i updated some packages yesterday (clementine and nvidia-drivers) and since today (1st reboot after that) i cant write anything if capslock isnt enabled.

To write in lower case, i have to enable caps lock and hold down SHIFT.....

without caps lock, it looks like if the "keyboard-event" is recognized (flickering of keyboard slash/pointer), but no key is typed.
Neiter firefox url bar, nor konsole window.

This starts right after my gdm login, where caps / keypress is working flawlessly.

any ideas where to look?

i allready unmerged nvidia-drivers...that wasnt the problem...

just figured out smth "created" ./kde4 and ./.config directly in my root directory.

in that .config dir is a "trolltech.conf"
...small file with 3 lines...about "kauth_backend_plugin" ?

the ./kde4 files got subfolders for /share /config but is empty.

something really went wrong :(

looks like this guy got the same problem:

FOUND IT:

This problem only occurs when Clementine is active in system tray.
Looks like there is a bug...

Tested, worked.

Any solution here?

Edit: Found out removing all shortkeys@clementine settings solves the problem!
