I have to do a
Code: | hdparm -d1 -A1 -m16 -u1 -a64 /dev/hda |
everytime i boot up and then things work just fine but what I'd like to do is automate this. Where should this command be interested (properly) or what do i need to change (a conf file anywhere)? |

Add it to your /etc/conf.d/hdparm file.
Then run :
Code: |
rc-update add hdparm default
|
Next time you reboot, it will be set automatically.
