I have an amd64 which recently has been randomly hanging during boot.
it is running init 2.88 and always stops at
Setting Terminal Encoding to UTF8
I can force power it and sometimes it will boot, but it seems pretty hit and miss
Anyone have any pointers on how to troubleshoot this?
thanks

Worked it out is was the juju firewire stack.
As soon as I unplugged my firewire cable boxes the boot continued.
