I've found lots of information about hooking these kinds of converters up to Linux before, but none about this specific one and hardly any about a specific converter. It can be found at http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=55&products_id=255&. I bought it from the place at the link too. I'm just wandering if anybody has gotten it to work or has any information on it.

Of course it works, except maybe vibrations (but I didn't search long for something to test that !). You might want to modprobe joydev, and check out the usb and joystick options in the kernel config.

You've actually used it before? When I modprobe joydev, it doesn't creat the device for some reason. Are there some options I need to use with modprobe? I think my kernel options are correct, although I'll try that if there's not any options I need with modprobe.

In the kernel config you might want to check "Input core support", because the device is /dev/input/js0 also in "USB support" check "HID input layer support".
