I just did a fresh install of Gentoo + Gnome 2.4 earlier this week. I want to get Totem/XMMS/etc. installed, but I'm always asked to downgrate a bunch of my gnome-base/* packages like control-center, etc. It keeps telling me to downgrade even when using 'emerge -U'.
I know a bunch of people have Gnome 2.4 working... has anybody found a way around this? |
