Hi guys,
I've a problem with my new computer. SMP is disabled, but I've enabled. Kernel configuration is same as on my notebook (only a few changes depends on HW). I don't understand it...
HW on new computer is: Intel Core i7 2600K, Gigabite P67A-UD4-B3

hurvajs77,
Boot with a CD and see how many cores that shows. If its more than one, you did something wring in your kernel setup.
If its still only one, the other cores are disabled in your BIOS. _________________ Regards,

Assuming no output was truncated, it looks like both of those cpuinfo outputs show a system that has multiple CPU nodes and that both of those systems are running in UP mode. What is the output of zgrep SMP /proc/config.gz? |
