|
|
Late last night (probably the reason for the mistake...) I accidentally ran mke2fs /dev/sda1 instead of sdc1, where /dev/sda1 is a 2TB NTFS partition.
As soon as I realised my mistake (4-5 seconds) I hit Ctrl-C and stopped the process.
I ran TestDisk and rebuilt the boot sector, TestDisk can find file using undelete.
I tried to mount in Linux with ntfs3g and failed, ntfsfix also failed. I am going to run chkdsk now and see what happens.
Any other ideas? :( _________________ $ ./lurk;

At least don't allow any utils that you run to modify the partition contents, or it will be much more difficult to restore it later. :? |
