setenv $MCTYPE

Hi,

I´m really new in working with Gentoo (SuSE before). Up to now, I have a running system with a optimzed kernel, sound and some trouble with ISDN :-)

My Problem: During the Installation of the 3D-CAD-Program "Pro/ENGINEER" the setup looks for the variable "$MCTYPE".
There is no problem with SuSE but with Gentoo. The setup cancel, because it cant´find the files in the directory "i486linux" - where the variable pointed to.

Any Idea?
