2.6.38-r5 dvb gone

all the modules i make menuconfig at dvb is gone.how do i fix that

no they are not there.i can set multimedia,dvb,video for linux and irc thats all

i have stayed up all night to to get som answers.every kernel i install gets the same problem.from start
all the drivers and modules is in dvb but when i make && make modules_install.they get lost



and one more thing i did stuff to the last kernel i used (2.6.37)

if i remove .config the options comes back in multimedia again but when i save my menuconfig,they got lost again.
so its not when i make && make modules_install. i have looked in the new kernels and all the stuff is there.just not
after i have saved.

i have manage to work around the problem.i will try to type the problem down.

okej

i can make menuconfig and conf... the kernel but i can not save the setup to the .config file
otherwise all in multimedia gets lost or (unconf..able).so my workaround for it was to save the menuconfig
to .config1 and not save when exit.then"



rm /usr/src/linux/.config
cp /usr/src/linux/.config1 /usr/src/.config
cd /usr/src/linux

and at last

make && make modules_install
