How would I be able to allow my users to mount stuff . . .

I would like to know what I would have to do to allow my users to be able to mount flash drives in xfce I have installed hal and udev I have added my users to plugdev. I am just wondering what do I have to do or add so I can be able to do this? Do I have to modify fstab or something?
