I've played a lot with the ut-editor, now I started using gtkradiant to try to make maps for enemy territory, I've downloaded gtkradiant 1.3.11, pointed it towards my install of et and says it find all the textures,
but when I follow some of the steps in the radiant manual to create a simple room with a light and a player spawn point no textures show up only comments like "shader not found" and "shader image not found".
At first I thought this to be normal (only add textures to a finished brush?) after I compiled it (is it normal to get no feedback for this proces, or is it just very quick with a small room and just one light) and put it in my maps dir (like the manual said) trying \devmap NAMEOFMAP form the et console doesnt work (map not found)
Are there more gentoo-ers who use gtkradiant for mapping who have the solution for this (the texture problem)? _________________ In "old" Europe we already have a word for "pre-emptive strikes" mr Bush: its called "war" |
