|

I recently purchased a Nippon Labs "everything-under-the-sun" USB memory card reader. As far as I can tell, it's supposed to show up to the system as a USB hub and four removable mass-storage-class devices, and the system BIOS does detect it like this. The problem is that under Linux, only the CompactFlash reader (the first of the four devices) shows up. Any suggestions on what could be going wrong, or where to start looking to fix this?

Is SCSI_MULTI_LUN set in your kernel? |

No, it isn't, and it's not something I would ever have thought of checking. I'll see if it works when I get a chance.
Edit: That fixed it. Thanks. |
