ati-drivers 3.2.5 Problems

I am not quite sure what's happening here....

I am using:
development-sources-2.6.0_beta5-r8
ati-drivers-3.2.5
xfree-4.0.3-r3

Everything has emerged fine.
I did opengl-config ati.

Basically, I can't start X at all unless I comment the GLX module out of my XF86Config-4 file.

I have agpgart compiled into the kernel as a module and DRI is not compiled in at all. (I have tried it with DRI compiled in as well.)

When reading XFree86.0.log, it says DRI initialized fine, but then it spits out this error before killing X:

__glXExtensionInit: AddExtensions failed

This happens with every ati-driver I've tried since 3.2.0 (2.9.13 was the last to work, but it doesn't compile at all for me now...)

Anybody have any ideas?
