Well my problem is that this is my first time using Gentoo linux.. by the way.. I LOVE IT!!!!!
now to the point.... in the livecd Gentoo booted with nice Fancy boot screen. and if i pressed F2 it would go to Verbose mode.. at a nice 1024x768 RES how can i make my newly installed Gentoo system do that???
here's what my grub boot looks like

my kernel is 2.4.20-gentoo-r5 COMPILED using genkernel
