Hi,

Seams one week, gimp throw a segmentation fault
and i can't fix it :

Try to compile it as -O2 instead of -O3 (which produces non standard codes)...

Didn't help :(

I think this is a "png" problem.
If i delete the file "/usr/share/gimp/2.0/images/gimp-splash.png",
no more segfault, but gimp still doesn't display :(

But after emerge -e world, segfault is gone.
Don't known why :(

I'm hit by this bug too and I can't get it fixed. I recompiled many dependencies so far but gimp refuses to start with a crash. This is really annoying. Since it happened during after the update today some package update during the last week (hence since last Saturday) has to be the culprit but I have no clue which one. That's really crap since I need GIMP.

the "Raleigh" workaround doesn't work for me on xfce4
