Hi all,

When I finally restarted my log-in session after a very long time, I found out that there is no icons on my desktop and no windows bar on my windows. It turned out that nautilus and gnome-wm were not started. When I ran them, everything turned out all right.

The only thing is that filemanager and windowmanager are both set to nautilus and gnome-wm respectively in gconf-editor (/desktop/gnome/session/required_components), and the other key in the folder, gnome-panel set to 'panel' worked as normal. I ended up starting nautilus and gnome-wm in ~/.xsession, but I'm just wondering if any of you have any ideas as to what happened?
