Hey all

I have just got my new bamboo Fun Pen & Touch M (CTH-661).
And i cant get it working (It's okay if only the pen works, the touch is just cool).

I have tried the kernel driver and the module (linuxwacom-module) with and without the kernel driver.

i have removed the driver in kernel

Code:

Device Drivers  --->
  Input device support  --->
    [*]   Tablets  --->
      < >   Acecad Flair tablet support (USB)
      < >   Aiptek 6000U/8000U and Genius G_PEN tablet support (USB)
      < >   GTCO CalComp/InterWrite USB Support
      < >   Hanwang Art Master III tablet support (USB)
      < >   KB Gear JamStudio tablet support (USB)
      < >   Wacom Intuos/Graphire tablet support (USB)

installed the driver
Code:

emerge -av linuxwacom-module

[ebuild   R   ] sys-kernel/linuxwacom-module-0.8.8_p10  USE="usb" 0 kB

added to make.conf (+useflags)
Code:

USE="X a52 aac acl acpi alsa animation-rtl ao apng arts autoipd avahi avi bzip2 cairo caps cdb cdr cli consolekit cups curl device-mapper divx djvu dri dts dbus dv dvb dvd dvdr dvdread dv dvi encode evdev extensions extras fame ffmpeg fftw filter firefox flac foomaticdb ftp gd gdu gif gnome gnutls gstreamer gtk gtk2 gtk3 gtkhtml hal hald icu irc jabber jack jadetex java java6 javascript jpeg jpeg2k kde kpathsea lame libusb mad matroska melt mjpeg mp3 mpeg mplayer msn networkmanager -nfsv4 nsplugin -nss ogg openal opengl pcre png policykit postgres pulseaudio qt3support qt4 quicktime resolvconf samba sdl session sip subtitles svg sqlite sqlite3 static-libs syslog szip theora threads tiff truetype usb unicode v4l v4l2 vala vcd videos vnc vorbis webkit win32codecs x264 xetex xinerama xml xulrunner xv xvid zlib"

VIDEO_CARDS="nouveau"

INPUT_DEVICES="keyboard mouse evdev wacom"

updated xorg-x11 drivers
Code:

[ebuild  N    ] x11-drivers/xf86-input-wacom-0.11.0  USE="-debug" 0 kB
[ebuild   R   ] x11-base/xorg-drivers-1.10  INPUT_DEVICES="evdev keyboard mouse wacom -acecad -aiptek -elographics -fpit -joystick -penmount -synaptics -tslib -virtualbox -vmmouse -void" VIDEO_CARDS="nouveau -apm -ark -ast -chips -cirrus -dummy -epson -fbdev -fglrx (-geode) -glint -i128 (-i740) (-impact) -intel -mach64 -mga -neomagic (-newport) -nv -nvidia (-omapfb) -qxl -r128 -radeon -rendition -s3 -s3virge -savage -siliconmotion -sis -sisusb (-sunbw2) (-suncg14) (-suncg3) (-suncg6) (-sunffb) (-sunleo) (-suntcx) -tdfx -tga -trident -tseng -v4l -vesa -via -virtualbox -vmware (-voodoo)" 0 kB

and does not work i dont have it in

/proc/bus/input/devices

but i can see it at

lsusb
Code:

Okay i got it running.
apperantly i needed to uinstall linuxwacom-module, and xf86-input-wacom, and use the kernel driver and build the wacom driver in-kernel.

Anyone having experience with configuration, i have a dual monitor setup an would like to fix it to only one monitor.
